The first half of 2024 is over, the time has come to take stock of our impact on the environment.
Despite a very difficult economic context in the field of recycling and plastics processing, GENERAL INDUSTRIES via its production subsidiary 1.08 RECYCLAGE has processed more than 7,000 tonnes of incoming materials mix at its BLYES industrial site.

A new edition of the POLLUTEC exhibition will be held in Lyon next week, from October 10 to 13.
Created in 1978, this regional event has over the years become the international benchmark for ecological transition issues. So it’s only natural that our teams should meet long-standing partners on site, and make new contacts as part of 1.08 RECYCLAGE’s rapid expansion. Especially at a trade show just 30 minutes from our Blyes plant!

September was marked by our presence at the latest edition of the Plastics Recycling Show (PRS) Middle East & Africa in Dubai. For the occasion, several hundred international industrialists were present, from a wide variety of fields: plastic recycling machinery and equipment, plastic material suppliers, pre-processors and, of course, plastic recyclers!

Over the past few days, all our teams have been working on a satisfaction survey, which we have sent out to over 150 customers worldwide.
It’s an opportunity to take a close look at all our services and the quality of our relationship, because your opinion is essential to us.

The 35th edition of the CHINAPLAS exhibition will be held in Shenzhen from April 17 to 20. What makes it a reference event? 4,000 exhibitors from all over the world will come to present their latest innovations, connect with experts, and learn about the future development of the plastics and rubber industries.

Following development, Général Industries will have an extra 180 m2 of office space, which will be used to cope with the potential arrival of new employees and to ensure the well-being of existing employees.

The plant operated by our subsidiary 1.08 Recyclage, which specialises in plastic waste recycling, was opened on 15th September in Blyes, in the Lyon area.

Following its inauguration on 15th September, the 1.08 Recyclage plant was covered favourably by numerous regional, national and economic media outlets, there is something there for everyone!

In conjunction with our company 1.08 Recyclage, new COLOUR formulations using ABS and HIPS are in progress. An innovation that paves the way for new and effective solutions, in particular in the building and electrical sectors
